Car·pe di·em

Updated: Aug 19, 2022

Seize the day.

Used to urge someone to make the most of the present time and give little thought to the future.

'Carpe diem,' a quotation that comes from the Roman poet Horace (Odes I.xi); the term literally translates to: 'pluck the day!'
